Leslie Willis has lived in Royal Wootton Bassett for the last 30 years. During this time he served 5 years on the local council for the Liberal Democrats in which time he was Mayor, Deputy Mayor and the chairman of the town council planning committee.
He was in the Royal Air Force for 15 years then worked for 21 years in the NHS in a demanding role in the care for Adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. He now runs his own small business.
After the result of the referendum in 2016 he soon realised that our political parties were not respecting the result and were replacing democracy with their own views and self-importance. That instilled him with the passion to join the Brexit party and offer himself as a prospective candidate.
The Brexit party has become a strong political force led by dynamic leaders who are not afraid to tell the truth and address the problems faced by our country.
He feels that the depletion of our NHS, police forces and prisons must be high on any government’s future agenda.

He has been disgusted with the way our MPs have hidden the truth about become the UK becoming a colony of Federal Europe since the 1970's
Any deal will keep us under the EU rules for a lot longer. Every extension costs us a lot more money

Les Willis The Brexit party Candidate for North Wiltshire has been asked by the party to transfer to North Swindon for the Election. They feel with his political background he will have a good chance of unseating the incumbent MP in North Swindon
He has lived in Wootton Bassett and Swindon for many years and has a good knowledge of the area and the problems it faces.
If he gets elected he intends to campaign to encourage industry to move and start up in Swindon and the surrounding areas to help the skilled workforce being made redundant from Honda. He wants to see the creation of skilled jobs in the area to raise people’s standard of living. He feels the new policy that Brexit Party have initiated to help create more real apprenticeships will give people who are not academic a chance to train for a well-paid work.
In North Wiltshire there will be a new candidate put in post very soon. The Brexit Party are fulfilling their promise to have a candidate standing in every constituency in this country
Les does not underestimate the task ahead of him, but with the help of the many willing volunteers he hopes to succeed in the election.
